This secret ingredient found in most foods adds fat to your body every day.

Do you remember the big scandal in America a few years ago about McDonald’s and their food, specifically French fries? The company was accused of using trans-fats in their products! That’s correct, we were being poisoned by the evil clown with dangerous fat and something had to be done!

The government stepped in, and the burger giant was forced to replace their frying oil.

On the surface of it, it seems nice of good old Uncle Sam to take care of us right? To watch out for us, the ignorant people, and ensure that when we are consuming super-sized fries that they are not entirely unhealthy!

Okay… but what if I told you, that even if you avoid any fast food, there is something found in almost every food, package or can in the grocery aisle that’s extremely addictive, and almost immediately turns to fat after you eat it.

This one component is one of the leading causes of weight gain and obesity around the world.

So what is this monster, which is mostly ignored by the government and mass media?

SUGAR.

That’s correct, processed sugar in its various forms is one of the most used ingredients in all processed and packaged foods.

That includes regular white sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, maltodextrin etc.

Have a little experiment yourself the next time you go shopping. Walk down the aisles and examine the stuff you usually buy.

You will most likely find sugar everywhere – soup, salad dressing, instant potatoes, fruit juice, frozen foods, and even baby foods… Who could imagine that?

Sugar is a true enemy to your health. Although, okay in small portions, it is unhealthy, addictive and dangerous. Thousands of independent clinical trials have shown that sugar is more addictive than heavy narcotics like cocaine or heroin… and it’s found in pretty much everything we eat!

Therefore it is not surprising why you might find it difficult to stop eating it?

Here’s something else to think about. There are some vegetables, usually served in restaurants and found in the ‘healthy’ section of the grocery store, that are generally considered to be healthy… but actually undermine your ability to drop body fat!
